THE AWARDS - 2025

We welcome equestrian business owners from all backgrounds, whether you are a one man band or have employees. Our aim is to be as inclusive and diverse as possible. We appreciate that some business owners may have different fields of expertise, for example be a riding instructor as well as an accredited saddle fitter. Therefore, individuals may enter more than one category where relevant. Self nominations as well as client nominations are welcomed. It is free to nominate and self nominate. 

 

For the 2025 Equestrian Business Awards, the categories are as follows:

Retailer of the Year

​

Online and offline tack shops, equestrian product suppliers and feed stores qualify for this category. 

Equine Therapist of the Year

sponsored by Equicantis​

Any kind of therapist may qualify, however they must hold relevant/current qualifications and be part of their respective governing bodies.

Vet Practice of the Year 

​

Nominees must be an RCVS Accredited Practice.

Diversity Award

 sponsored by EquuStrong UK

Nominate an organisation or professional that has promoted diversity. and inclusion.

Riding School of the Year 

​

Open to riding schools of all sizes and locations. Riding schools must hold a local authority licence.

Equestrian Media of the Year 

Do you know a social media influencer, journalist or podcast that has gone above and beyond to support your business, educated you or inspired you?

Equine Dentist of the Year

sponsored by The BAEDT

This award is open to BAEDT or WWAED qualified and registered equine dental technicians. 

Groom of the Year

​

​Open to freelance grooms and professionals working as grooms.

Equestrian Tech of the Year

Have a favourite equestrian app or piece of technology? Nominate them for Equestrian Tech of the Year 2025!

Livery Yard of the Year

Any livery yard registered as a business, from grass livery to full and working livery are eligible for this award.

Event Venue of the Year

sponsored by AGM Planning Consultants

For equestrian event venues of all sizes and types from clinic venues to cross country to polo.  This category also includes event management bussineses.

Farrier of the Year

Open to all farriers registered with the Farriers' Registration Council. 

Riding Instructor of the Year

Instructors must be appropriately qualified.

Horse Transporter of the Year

​

Transporters must hold the relevant legal certificates, insurance and authorisations.

Equine Service of the Year

​

For businesses from competition yards to stud services, to rug repairers and everything in between.

Behavioural Trainer of the Year

For professionals who have helped to train and support horses to overcome specific behavioural and emotional barriers. using evidence based methods and with social licence to operate in mind.

Saddle Fitter of the Year

Nominees must be  appropriately qualified.

Charity of the Year
